Chez Julie
Bouneweg-Nord-Verluerekascht, Luxembourg City View On Map
Tucked away in a side street close to the train station is Chez Julie. A beacon of gluten free light in a Duchy of gluten! Chez Julie while slightly out of the way is easy to find and as Luxembourg is quite small it is not too long a walk if you are in the old town. On the Chez Julie website she states that all soups and salads are gluten free but having seen some of the gluten free options on other days I wanted to be sure that there would be something slightly more substantial on my visit. Fortunately I was able to find the Facebook page and contact her via that. Sure enough she wrote back quite promptly saying that on the day of my visit gluten free quiche would be available.

I opted for a gluten free quiche with a filling of olive tapenade and carrots. This sounds very strange and to an extent it was strange but it has to be said it really worked. Chez Julie is absolutely fantastic, I really hope that the cafe goes from strength to strength and are able to continue to offer gluten free offerings.

Moulin d'Asselborn

Hello , we were eating the other day in this quiet restaurant where we have registered in advance with Glutenalergie . The operators were very accommodating and have really spoiled us . They even had gluten- free bread and pasta in the house.
