It may be our home country but that doesn't mean that we can't travel around the country and still struggle to find somewhere catering to a gluten free diet. However, plenty of great places exist so hopefully you'll find the right one for you here.

Vozars Cafe Deli Restaurant
Brixton, London View On Map
I've visited Vozar's three times and had great food on each occasion. Everything is gluten free so it's suitable for Coeliacs. On my most recent visit I had a great lunch, washed down with a nice cold Celia lager. The Chicken strips, rocket and chilli mayo sandwich was excellent. The restaurant has had a refurbishment since my last too and it looks very good. While I didn't have room for dessert yesterday I am a big fan of the Black Forest Gateaux made by the WAGfree bakery and on sale at Vozars. Well worth a visit.

The Fish Factory (Worthing)
Worthing, West Sussex View On Map
So good I dined there twice on my stay in Worthing. Once for lunch and once for an evening meal. There is an extensive gluten free menu, including a GF beer. The Haddock and Skate Wing I had as mains were both very good. The chicken liver pate served with two homemade GF rolls made for a great starter. Great service too. I will be going back again.

Kelston Guest House
Weymouth, Dorset View On Map
After recently being diagnosed, I worried that a weekend we had planned could be a stress looking for Gluten Free places to eat. However, we found a great guest house, just off the seafront in Weymouth. I was asked at booking if I had a special diet, I mentioned that I required Gluten Free and no problem was the response. Karen & Martin cooked a wonderful, tasty and filling traditional English breakfast, with delicious Gluten Free sausages. There was Gluten Free cereal and toast. I would recommend to all.

Le Bistrot Pierre
, Chain View On Map
We had a great gluten free meal at Le Bistrot Pierre in Nottingham. The food was very tasty and there's an extensive gluten free selection. The Assiette Mediterranenne starter (for two to share) was a brilliant mixture of tasty dishes. The Poulet aux truffes I had for my main course was delicious too. They also serve bottles of Green's gluten free beer. Unfortunately on our visit I bought the last one, as I would've had a couple more if they'd been in stock. There is also an extra charge of 95p levied on gluten free bread, which is a shame. The waiting staff are aware of cross contamination though and we were told the gf bread is cut with a separate knife in a separate area in the kitchen. They have a number of branches and I would visit again.

Had a great meal at Las Iguanas. Lots of gluten free choices. The prawn and butternut squash dish I had was great. Good priced food and drink (the GF beer - Estrella Damm Daura - was only 10p more expensive than 'normal' bottled beer).
