Niche Gluten Free Café
Seattle, Washington (WA) View On Map
I found Niche Gluten Free Café and Bakery on a google search before I arrived in Seattle. I was impressed that a small town had a dedicated gluten-free bakery. And, I knew that I would be safe eating ANYTHING that I wanted on the menu. I did my usual routine of ordering three meals, and I searched for the largest table. The Sweet Bacon Waffle is the best thing on the menu. It's like dessert, but it's labeled under breakfast so you can eat as many as you want. It's safe to say that Niche Gluten Free Café and Bakery will be my first view when I look out my window seat on my next trip to Seattle.

The Pink Door
Seattle, Washington (WA) View On Map
The Pink Door restaurant is hidden. You are looking for a Pink door, but it's in the alley. If you get lost, as we did, keep looking, it's a great find! As an Italian, I've tasted hundreds of antipasto plates. And, The Pink Door, makes a very memorable dish. Plus, it's gluten-free. The Pink Door offers gluten-free pasta dishes, and they are full of flavor. If you're looking for pasta, this is the place to try. If anybody asked me about the best gluten free restaurants in Seattle, I would remember The Pink Door.

Wildhorse Saloon
Nashville, Tennessee (TN) View On Map
I stumbled upon Wildhorse Saloon located at 120 Second Ave North. They had a huge menu posted outside and I saw that several menu items were marked GF! After further investigation, low and behold, I found a place with real gluten free!!! I immediately asked to speak to the hostess and then the waiter to confirm that this was safe for me.

The menu was clearly marked what was and was not gluten free and the vast majority of the menu was gluten free. I'm not talking about salads or sides, but entrees too. The BBQ sauce is housemade and gluten free. Waiter went out of his way to get me a fresh bottle from the back in case the tip of the bottle touched bread. The potatoes are fried in a separate fryer. The servers were extremely knowledgable about allergies and made sure to make notes on my order.

I ordered the 2 meats and 2 sides entree. I received delicious brisket (SO MUCH brisket) and coleslaw and potatoes as my side. My oh my was I happy. I was so full by the end and couldn't eat everything (for once!). The BBQ sauce was great too! Would I return? YES YES YES YES! I was about to eat authentic Tennessee BBQ, watch a great live band, and had the opportunity to even learn how to line dance. If I go back to Nashville, I would definitely return.

Uptown Kitchen
Granger, Indiana (IN) View On Map
This was the first gluten free restaurant we found in the area and it was my most visited restaurant. They have a full gluten free menu with tons of options-pretty much any sandwich or pizza can be made gluten free. The kitchen makes everything from scratch and understands gluten free. I always opted for a sandwich as the bread was wonderful!! The best part was that they have gluten free cakes!!!!!! Yes, cakes! There's usually only 1-2 flavors available a day, but I managed to try out at least 5 different flavors. The cake was fantastic and I kept coming back for more. Service is fast and the restaurant is very casual.

Kisso Sushi
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (PA) View On Map
Absolutely the best sushi I have ever had. A tiny restaurant located in old city, the owner, chefs, and staffs are incredibly friendly and willing to answer any questions pertaining to gluten. I ate here likely a hundred times over the course of a year and never had any issues, only wonderful experiences.

Wedge and Fig
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (PA) View On Map
Absolutely love this little cafe. It is located in old city Philadelphia. The interior is small and does not have many tables but that only adds to the ambiance. There are daily soups, salads, and sandwiches for customers to choose from. Items are marked as gluten free and the wait staff is always more than helpful and friendly. They will alter orders as well to help out their customers with dietary restrictions.

Don Antonio
Hell's Kitchen, New York City (NYC) View On Map
Amazing gluten free pizza. I had not had a good pizza since having to give up gluten several years earlier. This restaurant serves up the best gluten free pizza I have found in North America. My boyfriend had a regular pizza, which he said was also one of the best he has ever had and said that the GF pizza tasted just as good as the normal. Would come here every week if we could.

Woodberry Kitchen
Baltimore, Maryland (MD) View On Map
I adore this place! My friend who is from Baltimore suggested we go here as she says it is her favorite restaurant in the city. The decor and set up is stunning and so inviting. We first visited in the winter and it felt as if the building hugged you, which I feel is generally quite unusual in a dining experience. We had several different eating habits being accommodated at our table; I have Celiac and am therefore gluten free, my boyfriend is pescatarian and one of our friends suffers from ulcerative colitis. They were more than willing to answer any and all of our questions and the food was just impeccable. Cannot wait to come back here!

Andolini's Pizzeria
Tulsa, Oklahoma (OK) View On Map
We visited here on our trip in Tulsa and had a really wonderful experience. First and foremost, the staff are wonderful. Exceptionally friendly and paid clear attention to our orders which we appreciated as I require a gluten free diet. All of the pizzas can be made gluten free (14 inch pizzas) and they have several pasta options and salads that are GF as well. We enjoyed this place and would come back if we were ever in the area!

Juniper
Tulsa, Oklahoma (OK) View On Map
Had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant not too long ago and the food was excellent. It is upscale and much pricier than your average restaurant however the quality of all the dishes our table ordered were fantastic. This restaurant has gluten free and vegetarian options. Some of the dishes that I would suggest were the sweet carrot soup and the Salad Nicoise.

Tio Pablo
Richmond, Virginia (VA) View On Map
My husband and I have been here quite a few times and the food has always been good. It is not entirely traditional Mexican food and I have had better, however, for what Richmond has to offer I believe it is one of the best options. In addition, the entire restaurant is gluten free as the owner has Celiac disease.

Lemaire
Richmond, Virginia (VA) View On Map
Came here for my engagement dinner with my fiancee and his parents. His mother had called beforehand and they very sweetly put our names on the menus. I have Celiac disease and as soon as we told our server, Lori, she informed us it would not be a problem. Prior to our meal, we had a drink in the bar for cocktail hour and the drinks were delicious and the prices were incredibly reasonable.

The main meal, while substantially more expensive was all around delicious. For my starter I had the ahi tuna tartare and my main I had the scallops. It was all and all delicious and a very memorable meal. Would definitely come back

Surprisingly for a pub, they are very accommodating for gluten free. As someone with celiac this can often be a problem when dining out but it was no problem here. The atmosphere is super charming and has a lot of great character. Our waiter was incredibly nice and everyone in our party said that their food was excellent.
