Dragon Way Chinese Restaurant
Prestonpans, East Lothian View On Map
Great Chinese food. Check with staff for coeliac suitability. Lar Chee, Kon Siu and Szechuan dishes are gluten free. Others too. Alas only boiled rice though.

An update to my previous review. Some battered dishes are gluten free too. Sweet and sour/lemon chicken and Woo Tip Chicken are ok (batter made with cornflour). Also ask for fried rice without soy sauce to enhance the meal.

Crolla's Italian Kitchen
Musselburgh, East Lothian View On Map
More than just a pizza/pasta restaurant. Gluten free pizza and pasta are available, but many other items on the menu are or can be made gluten free. Even a selection of sweets made with Luca's ice cream are an option. Worth a visit for a special occasion.

All their ice cream and sorbets are gf, as well as home made snowballs. No cones obviously. Check with waiting staff for other items on the food menu. Best ice cream restaurant in the area.

Good food, with gluten free alternatives to regular menu items. Just ask for gluten free menu. Includes gluten free rolls, toast and pasta. Excellent!

The Orangery
North Berwick, East Lothian View On Map
While in North Berwick we spotted 'Gluten Free Cake' on the menu of The Orangery Tea Room. It wasn't home made, but a Honeybuns Chocolate Brownie. The Tea Room looked nice and there is also an art gallery inside the shop/tearoom, but that was the only Gluten Free item on offer. We couldn't find anywhere else to eat GF in North Berwick either.

The Quay Bar and Restaurant
Musselburgh, East Lothian View On Map
While promenading along the coast we popped into the Quay Bar and Restaurant in Musselburgh and noticed that they offered Gluten Free options (although the menu said 'Glutin'!?). The food was predominantly Indian, but there seemed to be some good options for Coeliacs dining there. We didn't eat there but have noted it for our next trip to the area.
